Auraiya, 04 August (HS). The body of a young man was found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances in the village Rurukala of Bidhuna police station area of the district. Police reached the spot after getting the information and took down the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Akash Kumar (20), son of Brajkishore, a resident of Rurukala, committed suicide by hanging himself with his t-shirt in a plum orchard a few meters away from his house. Some children were grazing goats near the orchard when they saw the body of a young man hanging from a tree.
When the children informed the villagers about this, a crowd gathered at the spot. His mother Rani Devi fell down after seeing the dead body of her son. Outpost in-charge Mulendra Singh Chauhan was informed. The police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody. On receiving the information, CO Ashok Kumar and Kotwali in-charge Mahendra Kumar reached the spot. The police prepared the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem.
Mulendra Singh Chauhan said that prima facie the youth has committed suicide by hanging himself. According to the family members, it is a case of love affair. The youth has been murdered and hanged on a tree.
