The body of a woman who died during abortion was thrown into the river along with her two living children, two arrested

Mumbai, July 22 (HS). Police have arrested two miscreants who threw the dead body of a woman who died during abortion and her two live children in Indrayani river located in Maval tehsil of Pune. The dead woman has been identified as Samreen Nisar Neverkar (age-25) and the two children who were thrown in the river have been identified as Ishant Nisar Neverkar (age-5) and Ijan Nisar Neverkar (age-2). In this case, Talegaon Dabhade MIDC police have arrested the accused Gajendra Jagannath Dagdkhair (age-37) and Ravikant Bhanudas Gaikwad (age-41). Along with this, the police team is vigorously searching for the dead body of the woman and her two children in Indrayani river on Monday. This incident, which shames humanity, has created panic in Maval tehsil.

According to the police, the accused had an immoral relationship with the mother of two children, due to which the woman became pregnant. The accused took the woman to Amar Hospital in Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai and got her abortion done, but during this time the woman died. After this, on July 9, the accused brought the dead woman's body to Maval in Pune and threw it in the Indrayani river. At that time both the children of the woman started crying, so the accused threw both the innocent children in the river to destroy the evidence. On getting information about this, Talegaon Dabhade MIDC police on Monday registered a case against the deceased woman's lover, his friend, the woman agent who got the abortion done and the concerned doctors of Kalamboli Amar Hospital. After investigation, today itself the police has arrested two accused and is actively searching for other accused.
