Khunti, 27 August (HS). International Krishna Consciousness Association ISKCON celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great pomp at Namhat Center Khunti on Tuesday. Madhukanth Das from ISKCON Salem Tamil Nadu was present as a preacher in the program. On the occasion of Lord Krishna's manifestation day festival, he said that the birth and deeds of Lord Krishna are divine. One who understands the birth and deeds of God in a true sense does not fall again in the ocean of birth and death, rather he attains my Sanatan Dharma.
He said that liberation of the soul from the bondage of life is not easy. The birth of Lord Krishna reflects these principles so that the soul can reach the Supreme Soul again. Along with the story, a dance drama was presented. The program was conducted by Namhat Center Director Shukamrit Das.
