Bhopal, August 3 (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is working with determination for the empowerment of sisters. Raksha Bandhan is a festival of love, affection and brotherhood. Sisters will be given priority in employment opportunities. On August 10, Rs. 1250 will be transferred to the accounts of all Laadli sisters with a single click and Rs. 250 extra will be given as a Raksha Bandhan gift. Here today, sisters have given me the joy of Raksha Bandhan even before Rakhi by tying a huge Rakhi. We will celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan throughout the month of Saavan in the state. Festivals will be organized in every district to receive the love and blessings of sisters.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Ladli Behna Utsav cum Uphaar program in Jabera of Damoh district on Saturday. He announced to make Jabera a municipal council. He inaugurated the high level bridge on Tendukheda Jamunkheda Ajitpur to Abhana Patan road at a cost of 4.5 crores through a single click under the Pradhan Mantri Road Scheme of Damoh district. Benefits were distributed to the beneficiaries under various schemes. A saptaparni plant was planted in the Jabera Mandi premises under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the picture of Bundelkhand region is going to change with the Ken-Betwa Link Project in the state. The entire region will be filled with water by connecting Vyarm River of Damoh district through the Ken-Betwa irrigation project. He said that there will be a shower of happiness in the entire region. Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will get Rs 45,000 crore each for the project. A big campaign will be launched to change the lives of the people of the region by bringing water to the entire Bundelkhand districts through the project. He said that the income of crops is going to more than double due to the irrigation scheme.
He urged the farmers not to sell their land, the ground breaking ceremony of this project will be done in the next two months, tomorrow is ours, it will change your life. He said that we will go ahead of Bundelkhand, Punjab and Haryana. The Chief Minister said that an investor meet will be held in Sagar in the month of September. Efforts are on to make all the districts of the state resource-rich, a network of industries will be set up in each district, in which sisters will also get employment.
Ladli sisters were welcomed with a shower of flowers
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the Ladli sisters present in the program by showering flowers and gave gifts to the Ladli sisters. Earlier, in the program centered on Sawan Utsav on the theme of Rakshabandhan, the Chief Minister went to the decorated swings in the premises and swung the Ladli sisters. The Ladli sisters presented a huge Rakhi to the Chief Minister and tied it. The sisters gave their best wishes to the Chief Minister by presenting a letter of gratitude.
In the program, Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that today despite adverse conditions, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has come among you all, we express our heartfelt thanks to him. He said that today there is a downpour of rain in the month of Saavan and God is showering abundant rain as a blessing for you. Mr. Patel said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is continuously working to empower all of you.
Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav came among us all. The Chief Minister is participating in the program of Ladli sisters, sisters of self-help groups. This entire program is a Rakshabandhan program. There will also be a program to tie Rakhi to Ladli sisters for the government's efforts for women empowerment. The government is already depositing an amount of Rs 1250 in the accounts of Ladli sisters to honor them. On this Rakshabandhan, the Chief Minister is going to give a Rakshabandhan gift of Rs 250 to Ladli sisters. We welcome and greet him on the land of Jabera Assembly.
Minister of State for Animal Husbandry (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel said that a dam should be built on the Vyarm River in Hata through the Can Betwa Link Project. This will end the water problem in Hata city and entire Damoh and all the land will be irrigated. MP Rahul Singh Lodhi said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is proving to be a mascot for Madhya Pradesh. As soon as he came, he won 29 out of 29 Lok Sabha seats. He has started an initiative to provide the best health facilities to the people of the state by starting the Prime Minister Ambulance Service.
The Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Ayushman Card, Chief Minister Udyam Kranti Yojana. He honoured daughters by performing Kanya-Poojan. He also rewarded the students of CM Rise School Damoh who narrated the story of Bal Sakha Sudama. Former minister Jayant Kumar Malaiya, MLA Umadevi Khatik, Chairman of Backward Classes Commission Dr. Ramakrishna Kusmaria, District Panchayat Chairman Ranjita Gaurav Patel along with public representatives, officials and a large number of Ladli sisters were present in the programme.
