Mustafizur Rahman got injured during practice : Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury during a training session. The incident occurred when Liton Das, who was batting in the side nets, hit a shot which hit Mustafizur on his head and started bleeding. Mustafizur was given first aid on the field before being taken to hospital in a standby ambulance.

Mustafizur had to get stitches on his wound

A subsequent CT scan revealed no internal bleeding. Team physio SM Zahidul Islam Sajal said, “Mustafizur suffered a head injury, which was treated with compression bandage. He had to undergo a surgical procedure to get stitches on the wound and is currently being monitored by the Comilla Victorians team physio.”
