Stock Market Today: Seeing the continuous rise in the Indian stock market, the amount of profit booking by investors has increased. Today again Sensex and Nifty broke down after reaching all-time high. Investors' capital has decreased by 4.53 lakh crores. Selling pressure was seen in most of the stocks.
The Sensex opened at a high of 77581.46 today with a gain of 242 points. By 10.30 pm, it had fallen 6256.59 points from its all-time high to 76954.87. At 11 am, it was trading at 72281, down 79.89 points. At 11 am, the Nifty was trading 49.85 points down after crossing the 23600 level and touching a record high of 23630.85.

2265 stocks in decline
Out of the total 3738 stocks traded on BSE till 10.43 am, 1339 stocks improved and 2265 stocks declined. 259 stocks reached the highest level of the year and 14 stocks reached the lowest level of the year. 208 stocks traded in upper circuit and 158 stocks traded in lower circuit.
Banking-Fi. General selling except stocks
In the stock market today, except for the shares of banking, financial services and private banks, selling was seen in all other shares. On BSE, Realty is trading down by 3.43 percent, Oil and Gas by 1.55 percent, Metal by 1.30 percent, Consumer Durables Index by 1.82 percent.
