The aim of Indian Red Cross Society is to serve living beings: Aniket Sachan

Khunti, March 14 (Hindustan Reporter) The Indian Red Cross Society was established during the First World War to assist war victims. Its sole purpose is to serve all living beings. These things were said by Indian Administrative Service officer and Sub-Divisional Officer of Khunti, Aniket Sachan. SDM was addressing as the chief guest the health fair cum camp organized in collaboration with the Health Department and courtesy of the Red Cross Society at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir complex in Angrabari on Thursday.

Aniket Sachan, acting secretary of the Red Cross, said that with time there has been a lot of change in this international organization and its area is no longer limited only to health care and blood donation. He said that Red Cross Society is now focusing its attention towards social development also. He said that there is a need that more and more people should join it and understand the work of Red Cross. He said that our aim is to provide health services to every person.

He said that people associated with the society should motivate people to donate more and more blood. Before this, on reaching the camp, Society President Kishore Kumar Gaunjhu and Manoj Kumar welcomed him by giving him underwear. Kailash Kumar, Rajendra Prajapati, Prashant Bhagat, Mahavir Ram, Ravindra Kumar, Niranjan Prasad, Balmukund Kashyap etc. were present on the occasion.
