PM Modi Visit: Preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program at PEC (Punjab Engineering College) on December 3 have intensified. Late on Friday night, senior administration and police officials reached PEC and inspected the incident site. He gave instructions to complete the incomplete work soon. Along with this, the Administrator of Chandigarh held a meeting with officials of various departments in the Secretariat and took stock of the preparations.

Review of new laws and return gifts to the police

This visit of the Prime Minister is being organized to commemorate the review of 3 new laws implemented across the country from July 1 and their implementation by Chandigarh Police for the first time. About 15 thousand people along with senior police officers from many states will participate in this program organized at PEC.

Provision of security from helicopter to PEC

The Prime Minister’s helicopter will land at Rajindra Park, from where he will leave for PEC by road. Meanwhile, the road from Rajindra Park to PEC will remain completely closed and only VVIPs will be allowed. There will be permission to come and go.

Checking campaign in Nawangaon, searches in hotels and PG

Before the Prime Minister’s visit, Punjab Police conducted a checking operation in Nawangaon in view of security. On the instructions of SSP Deepak Pareek, SP City, DSP City-1 and various police station in-charges of Kharar area inspected the hotels, PGs and rented houses located in Nawangaon.

Nawangaon SHO Jaideep Jakhar said that verification of tenants has been done in all the areas including Janata Colony and Adarsh ​​Nagar. Landlords have been given strict instructions not to rent any house without police verification.
