The accused of check bounce was sentenced to four months imprisonment and fined Rs 70,000

Ranchi, July 27 (HS). The court of Judicial Magistrate Divya Raghav on Saturday sentenced Arjun Prasad Yadav, who was found guilty of cheque bouncing, to four months' imprisonment and a fine of Rs 70,000. The court said in its order that the fine amount will be given to the victim to whom Arjun had given the cheque which bounced.

Arjun Prasad Yadav had given a cheque of 50 thousand rupees to Ajay Jain for payment of money, which bounced. After this Ajay Jain had taken refuge in the court. Ajay Jain had filed a complaint case in the civil court. Advocate Anant Kumar Vij argued on behalf of Ajay Jain.
