Baba Siddiqui murder case: In the Baba Siddiqui murder case, Mumbai Crime Branch has now made many revelations about the incident. He said that two pistols have been recovered from both the accused. The accused had brought pepper spray, the first accused was about to spray and then shoot but the third accused Shivkumar Gautam started firing directly.
Three policemen were also present along with Baba Siddiqui at the time of the accident, but they could not do anything. Another person has been injured in this firing.
Mumbai DCP has revealed about the murder case
Mumbai DCP Crime Branch Dutta Nalawade said,
- Last night at around 9.30 pm, when he (Baba Siddiqui) came out of his son's office, he (Baba Siddiqui) was shot.
- A case has been registered in Nirmal Nagar police station premises.
- Two accused have been arrested from the spot. Every aspect is being investigated.
- Two pistols and 28 cartridges have been recovered from the accused.
- Lawrence Bishnoi's angle is also being investigated.
Accused in custody till 21st October
The accused have been kept in our custody till October 21. We are investigating the role of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in this case.
The DCP further said, 'Baba Siddiqui did not have any classified security, but he was provided with 3 Mumbai Police security personnel. One of our security guards was with him at the time of the incident. We are investigating all aspects. The angle of Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi is also involved in this case.
'When did the accused come to Mumbai, investigation continues'
Police further said, 'We are checking the records of all the accused and we are also in touch with the local police of their native place to see if they have any previous police record. Like when the accused came to Mumbai, where they were kept and who gave them shelter, all these aspects were investigated.
Mumbai Police- Lawrence Bishnoi angle is also being investigated.
When asked about Lawrence Bishnoi's involvement, DCP Crime Branch Dutta Nalawade says, 'We are investigating the authenticity of the social media post claiming responsibility for the incident.
CM Shinde gave statement
CM Shinde also expressed grief over the incident, he said, the accused are from UP and Haryana and the third accused is absconding. We have directed Mumbai Police to take strict action against those who take law and order into their own hands. Mumbai Police is confident that it will soon arrest the third accused also. Strict action will be taken against the accused.
