The 29th Kanwar Yatra will go to Rajghat to collect Ganga water on July 28: Jairam

Hardoi, 20 July (HS). Jayram, the manager of Baba Turant Nath Mandir Chota Chauraha, told on Saturday that Jalabhishek of Baba Turant Nath is to be done on the second Monday of July 29. Thousands of devotees will visit the city with bands and tableaus on Sunday, July 28 to take the Jalabhishek of Baba.

He told that in the morning, a group of devotees of Lord Bholenath will depart from Baba Turant Nath temple via Munne Mian Chauraha, Baba Mandir Chauraha, Ramdatt Chauraha, Bada Chauraha, Numaish Chauraha, Cinema Chauraha to Bada Chauraha and Bilgram Chungi to collect water from Rajghat. This group of devotees will bring Ganga water from Rajghat on 29th July and perform Jalabhishek of Bhole Baba Turant Nath.

Arrangements for the devotees and Kanwariyas going out for Jalabhishek have been made at the administrative level. Executive Engineer Public Works Department I has informed that the traffic is completely closed on the road from Rupapur Chauraha via Pali to Shahabad due to the culvert being damaged by flood near Agampur, therefore, to go to Sakaha Shiva Temple, the Kanwar Yatra coming from Farrukhabad has been arranged to go from Rupapur Chauraha via Sawaijpur, Jagdishpur, Bawan, Bawan Chungi, Numaish Chauraha, DM Chauraha via Shahjahanpur Road (Paliya Lucknow Road).
