Like every year, this year also the biggest pilgrimage of Shri Mata Chamunda Devi Sharvadhar Pogal Paristan District Ramban, the 22nd Chhari Mubarak Yatra will depart from Rameshwar Temple Pakka Talab Bahu Fort Jammu on July 7, while this Chhari will return to Jammu on July 9 after Maa Darshan.
To ensure proper arrangements for the 22nd Chadi Mubarak Yatra, a meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Patron of Chamunda Mata Temple, Rajiv Chadhak, in which minute points of Yatra management were discussed. Members of Yatra Management Committee Ukhral Ramban Dhan Singh, Rashpal Singh, Narad Singh Wali, Kartar Singh and Jammu Chadi Mubarak Yatra Management Committee Hardesh Khokhar, President of Mata Mahakali Temple Market Shopkeeper Union Ankush Khajuria, Deepak Kumar, Hrithik Prajapati and others were present in the meeting. The Ukhral Yatra Management Committee also submitted a memorandum to Chief Patron Rajiv Chadhak for temple development and promotion of the Yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Chadhak said that Shri Mata Chamunda Devi Sharvadhar Pogal Paristan in Chandra Bhaga area of Jammu division is the biggest pilgrimage of District Ramban. This pilgrimage is considered very beneficial for the region. He said that devotees eagerly wait for the whole year to visit or visit Maa Chamunda. There, in the lap of nature, in the middle of the forests, Maa Chamunda Devi Ji is seated on the Sharvadhar mountain peak, which is covered with snow for eight months.
Chadhak said that Maa Chamunda Yatra is a difficult or inaccessible journey by road for 13 kms. Due to it being a forest area, devotees have to face many challenges. Sometimes rain and sometimes cold weather tests the devotees at every step, but despite all these difficulties, every year thousands of devotees of Maa Chamunda Devi reach here with full enthusiasm to have darshan. He appealed to the divisional administration and police and traffic police administration and said that keeping in view the conditions of Jammu division, strong arrangements should be made for the traffic system and security system of Chhari Mubarak Yatra starting from Jammu so that there is no hindrance in the conduct of Chhari Mubarak Yatra.
