There is talk that Raj and Uddhav may forget their differences and come together to contest the next elections.

Workers of both the parties are insisting on a compromise. Many people believe that the unity of the two leaders will unite Marathi votes. Raj’s arrival at the wedding ceremony is being seen as an acceptance of the peace proposal presented by Uddhav Thackeray.

Shaunak’s father Shridhar Patankar told that Raj Thackeray had come to bless his son. They came to maintain family ties. Since both Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray arrived at different times to give blessings, they could not meet.

Political experts say that Marathi votes are getting divided due to the ongoing political tussle between Shiv Sena, UBT and MNS. Raj and Uddhav parted ways in 2006 due to internal disputes. Raj formed MNS. Besides, Uddhav also got the command of undivided Shiv Sena.

MNS sources have indicated that there are differences between Raj and Uddhav. In the year 2019, MNS did not field a candidate against Aditya Thackeray on Worli seat. It is being said that Raj has taken this decision in honor of the election debut of a member of the Thackeray family.
