Ranchi, August 29 (HS). Testimony was recorded in the PMLA court on Thursday in the case related to suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, who is in jail on charges of money laundering of MNREGA scam amount.
The court recorded the statement of the witness presented by the ED. The testimony of more than 15 witnesses, including the then Deputy Director of ED Subodh Kumar, has been recorded in the case. During the testimony, Pooja Singhal, who is in jail, appeared through video conferencing. The court has fixed the date of next hearing as 31 August. Pooja Singhal has been in jail since 25 May 2022. In the same case, dismissed junior engineer Ram Binod Kumar Sinha and assistant engineer Shashi Prakash are also in jail.
