Testimony in court of father who was cheated by his daughter | News India

Ranchi, 09 September (HS). An old father Ajay Kumar Sen Gupta (83) appeared in the court of judicial magistrate Rajkumar Pandey on Monday and recorded his statement. While testifying before the court, father Ajay Kumar Sen Gupta has accused his daughter Ananya Sen, her husband Subroto Sen and other relatives of her in-laws, Ishita Sen Khatri, Chandana Sen and the construction company Ishita & Company run by Swapna Sen of fraud.

During this, the father told the court in a very sad manner that his daughter Ananya Sen, in collusion with her in-laws, swindled more than 50 lakh rupees from me under a conspiracy and sold all the land and house I had. Today I live alone 24 hours a day. No one takes care of me. He told the court that he also filed a case in the SDO court for his maintenance, where the court ordered to give 7000 rupees per month to my daughter, but my daughter is not following the court order till date.

Earlier he told the court that my daughter Ananya Sen's husband Subroto Sen took Rs 30,000 in 2007. In 2010, he hatched a conspiracy and sold my old house. Didn't give me a single penny. Kept all the money. Apart from this, he swindled Rs 33 lakh on the pretext of building 6 flats on the land in front of the house. Till date neither did he give me the flats nor returned my money. While giving testimony to the court, he told that on February 25, 2020, daughter Ananya Sen sold her father's share of the flat in the name of her cousin Chandan Sen Gupta and kept all the money.

All the accused had also tried to kill the father. The father has filed a case against his daughter and her in-laws' relatives in the year 2023. The court has taken cognizance against all the five accused under sections 406, 420, 323, 379, 120B and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. All the accused have obtained anticipatory bail in the case. Currently, pre-charge testimony is going on in the case. The next hearing in the case will be on October 4.
