Tesla's Tata Electro to acquire semiconductor chips for global business deal


A big deal has been signed between Tata Youth's company Tata Electronics and Elon Musk's Tesla. Tesla has entered into a strategic agreement with Tata to acquire semiconductor chips for its global business. US-based electric vehicle giant Tesla has signed a deal with Tata Electronics to buy semiconductor chips for its cars.

This deal with the Indian company has come at a time when Tesla is trying to set up its unit in India. The deal is also significant as the deal will establish Tata Electronics as a reliable supplier to top global companies. This deal will be completed in a few months. However, the amount of the deal between Tata Electronics and Tesla has not been disclosed. Both the companies have not made any disclosure in this regard.

Earlier there were reports that Tesla officials may visit India later this month. The official may visit Tesla's plant site during his visit to India. Tesla will choose Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra or Tamil Nadu for its units. However, now reports are coming that Elon Musk himself is visiting India. Tesla can invest two billion dollars in India.
