Terrorist attack on army post in Jammu and Kashmir, 5 injured including 4 soldiers

A soldier has been martyred in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The attack took place last night at a joint check post of 4 Rashtriya Rifles and police in Chhatragala, Doda. 4 soldiers and 1 SPO have also been injured in the attack.

The martyred soldier was identified as CRPF constable Kabir Das. Jaish/Jaish has claimed responsibility for the attack. A few hours before this attack, a terrorist attack also took place in Phad Sukhal village of Hiranagar in Kathua district at around 8 pm on Tuesday night. Here a person was also injured in the firing of terrorists. Police has killed one of the two terrorists who attacked.

The second terrorist is hiding somewhere in the village. He opened fire on the vehicle of DIG and SSP Kathua who reached the spot. Both of them escaped narrowly. Firing is going on between the terrorists and the police. Before this, three terrorist attacks have taken place within three days of the attack on the bus of pilgrims in Reasi on the evening of 9 June.
