Kathy Hochul also shared a post on Twitter. She wrote – In preparation for the Cricket World Cup, my team is working with federal and legal authorities to keep people attending the matches safe. Although there is no credible threat at this time, I have directed the NYPD to increase security measures and we will continue to monitor as the event approaches.

The threat regarding the match on June 9 has increased

The Eisenhower Park Stadium is hosting eight ICC T20 World Cup matches from June 3 to 12, including a match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. – Parking at Eisenhower Park will be for VIP ticket holders only, other spectators will park near the Nassau Coliseum, which is a short distance away.
