Bijnor: On Tuesday morning, a massive fire broke out on the Bijnor-Meerut highway in the city Kotwali area. A truck full of rice overturned on a car. The car driver died in the accident, while his wife, two sons and sister were injured.

32-year-old Imran, son of Imamuddin, resident of Hali Kalani, Panipat district of Haryana, married his sister Nazrana to Faizan, resident of Chhotu Chowk, Afzalgarh district, Bijnor, a few days ago. This was the third time Imran had visited his sister's in-laws along with his wife Tabassum and two sons, seven-year-old Rihaan and five-year-old Insaan.

Then a truck full of pulses and rice going from Meerut to Kiratpur went out of control and overturned on the car. Imran, who was driving the car, got badly trapped when the truck overturned. Imran remained unconscious amidst the fire. On receiving the information, the fire brigade also reached the spot. Imran, trapped in the flames, was taken out by breaking the glass of the car. He was taken to the district hospital but by then Imran had died. His wife, child and sister also suffered minor injuries.
Truck driver Arjun, resident of Bahsuma district, Meerut, has also been admitted to the district hospital in injured condition. It is being told that this accident happened due to sleeplessness.
