Nine people died in the Gamkhawar accident on Monday in Kaimur, Bihar. Three stars of Bhojpuri cinema also lost their lives in this accident. In this case, police said on Monday that Bhojpuri singer Chhotu Pandey was among the nine people who died in a collision between a truck, SUV and motorcycle in Kaimur district of Bihar. Apart from this, Bhojpuri actress Aanchal Tiwari and Simran Srivastava also lost their lives in this road accident.
The accident happened on Sunday evening on GT Road near Devkali village of Mohania police station area. Mohania DSP Dilip Kumar said the deceased were identified on Monday and they included Bhojpuri singer Vimlesh Pandey alias Chhotu Pandey.
Nine people died on the spot
The other deceased were identified as Aanchal Tiwari, Simran Srivastava, Prakash Ram, Dadhibal Singh, Anu Pandey, Shashi Pandey, Satya Prakash Mishra and Bagish Pandey. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a car carrying eight people, including two women, first hit a motorcycle. After this, both the SUP and the bike moved to the other lane where they collided with a speeding truck. After this, all nine people including the motorcycle driver died on the spot. The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident.
