• During this time, BJP also made public the name, address and voter ID card information of Sanjay Singh’s father.

BJP’s allegation: Disturbances in the electoral process

• Calling it a legal offence, BJP accused it of irregularities in the electoral process.
• BJP MP Manoj Tiwari released a video saying:
  “It is a serious matter for Sanjay Singh and his wife to have their names registered in the voter list at more than one place.”

Sanjay Singh’s clarification

Sanjay Singh gave clarification on these allegations and said:

• An application was made to remove his name from the Sultanpur voter list, but due to the negligence of the employees, this name could not be removed till now.
• He said that BJP is deliberately raising this issue.

Sanjay Singh alleged that:

• BJP tried to remove his wife’s name from the voter list of Delhi.
• He called it a conspiracy against Purvanchali voters.

• Singh announced that he would raise his voice against this injustice from the streets to the Parliament.
