Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the dates of the board examinations to be held next year, i.e. 2026. The board has released this schedule well in advance so that students can get ample time to plan and prepare for their studies.

12th (HSC) exam will be held first
As usual, Class 12 exams will start first.
- HSC (Class 12) Exam Start: 21 February 2026, Friday From.
- End of HSC (Class 12) Exam: 17 March 2026, Monday till.
After that it will be the turn of 10th (SSC)
The examinations of class 10th students will start immediately after the completion of class 12th examinations.
- SSC (Class 10) Exam Start: 1 March 2026, Saturday From.
- End of SSC (Class 10) Exam: 23 March 2026, Monday till.
When will the practical and oral examinations be held?
The board has also released the schedule of written examinations as well as practical, oral and other internal examinations:
- HSC (Class 12) Practical/Viva Voce: Between 1 February and 20 February 2026.
- SSC (Class 10) Practical/Viva Voce: Between 10 February and 29 February 2026.
