In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo additional punishment of three months.

During the trial of NDPS case number 26/2015, Special Public Prosecutor Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh presented four witnesses in the court and presented the prosecution case.
After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the judge found him guilty under Section 20(B)ii(C) and 23(C) of the NDPS Act and sentenced him to death. The accused has been in Motihari Central Jail since May 28, 2015. The period of sentence awarded shall be adjusted by the period spent in prison.
