Firozabad, 27 September (HIST). On Friday, the court sentenced the brother-in-law and brother-in-law, guilty of murderous attack, to 10 years imprisonment each. Fine has been imposed on both. If they do not pay the fine, they will have to face additional punishment.
Ram Khiladi's son Laturi was shot and injured on 22 December 2008 over a land dispute in village Bhud Gaddha of Fariha police station. The injured's brother Munnalal filed a case in the police station. After investigation, the police filed a charge sheet in the court against Bhud Gaddha resident Rambabu and his brother-in-law Nagla Ranjit resident Rustam Singh.
The case proceeded in the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court Number 2, Ravikant Yadav. Assistant District Government Advocate Criminal Ajay Kumar Yadav, who is prosecuting the case on behalf of the prosecution, said that during the trial, many witnesses and evidence were presented before the court. On the basis of testimony and evidence of witnesses, the court found both of them guilty and sentenced them to 10 years imprisonment each. A fine of Rs 2,000 each has been imposed on both of them. In case of non-payment of fine, both will have to face additional punishment of three months each.
