During this period the sky may remain cloudy. There will also be strong dust storm and hailstorm may also occur at some places. The Meteorological Department also says that after Saturday the temperature will rise rapidly and with the dry weather the possibility of heat wave has increased.
Dr. SN Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology, said on Friday that the western disturbance is over northern Pakistan and surrounding areas. The induced cyclonic circulation lies over Central Pakistan and Punjab. A cyclonic circulation is over the central parts of Assam. A trough extends from northwest Bihar to the cyclonic circulation over central Assam. A cyclonic circulation is lying over Marathwada. A trough is extending from Marathwada through interior Karnataka to southern Tamil Nadu. A cyclonic circulation has formed over the south-east of the Bay of Bengal. Fresh western disturbance will affect northwest India from April 22.
Told that the maximum temperature in Kanpur was recorded at 40.2 and the minimum temperature was 24.8 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the morning was 41 percent and the relative humidity in the afternoon was 16 percent. The direction of the winds was north-west with an average speed of 7.8 km per hour. According to the weather forecast, due to light to moderate clouds in Kanpur in the next five days, there is a possibility of light rainfall at local level along with thunderstorms, strong winds and dust storm on April 20.
