The maximum temperature in the state is expected to be 36 degrees Celsius, equal to last night's minimum temperature. This temperature is 5 degrees Celsius above normal. The Meteorological Department says that the series of severe heat will continue in the state. On Sunday, a 40-year-old laborer died in Sarana village of Ajmer after coming in contact with water. A BSF jawan also died due to heat stroke in Ramgarh situated on the border. Jawan Ajay Kumar posted on the border died due to heat. The health department has come forward for heatwave management.

Heatwave red alert in 6 states, yellow alert in three

On Sunday, 37 places in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh recorded temperatures of 45 degrees or more. On Saturday, only 17 places in the country recorded temperatures of 45 degrees or more. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh due to severe heat. Therefore, a yellow alert has been issued for various areas of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat.

Relief from heat will come after 3 days: Meteorological Department

Indian Meteorological Department chief Mrityunjay Mahapatra has given a relief news and said that the areas of northwest India and central India will get relief from the scorching heat after three days. He said, 'Northwest India and central India will get relief from the heat wave after three days due to western disturbances and moist winds blowing from the Arabian Sea. Due to this, there may be rain in the western Himalayan areas and thunderstorms may also occur in some parts of northwest India. ' He gave this information while addressing a virtual press conference. He said that out of the five western disturbances affecting North India, only two are active. This has a significant impact on the current climate.
