Raebareli, June 29 (HS). A teenager died after a wall of a newly constructed toilet collapsed. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem and started an investigation.
Actually, some water was leaking in the septic tank under construction in Bhup Kheda Majra Kurri village of Bachhrawan police station area. The teenager had gone to remove the rainwater from the toilet tank. During this, the wall collapsed and the teenager got buried. With the help of villagers and JCB, a rescue operation was carried out for four hours, but the teenager's life could not be saved. The body of the deceased teenager was taken out after four hours.
On receiving information about the incident, former MLA Ramlal Akela also reached the spot and consoled the family members. According to the Bachhrawan police station in-charge, the body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is being carried out.
