New Delhi: The Indian cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 86 runs in the second T20 match played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This is India's biggest win by runs against Bangladesh in T20 International.

Batting first after losing the toss, the Indian team scored 221 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh scored half-centuries. In reply, Bangladesh team could score only 135 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated overs.

The team's start was nothing special

The Indian team, which came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a special start. The team lost 3 wickets at the score of 41. Sanju Samson scored 10 runs on 7 balls, Abhishek Sharma scored 15 runs on 11 balls and captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 8 runs on 10 balls. After this Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh made a partnership of 108 runs for the fourth wicket.

Bangladesh's innings slipped

While chasing the target of 222 runs, Bangladesh team succumbed to the pressure. Mahmudullah, who has announced his retirement from T20 International, scored the highest score of 41 runs. Apart from them, Parvez Hussain Emon scored 16, Mehdi Hasan Miraj scored 16, Liton Das scored 14, captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto scored 11 and Rishad Hussain scored 9 runs.
