Won the five-match T20 series 4-1

With this, the young stars led by Gill won the five-match T20 series 4-1. India scored 197 runs for the loss of six wickets thanks to Samson's 58 runs in 45 balls. In reply, Zimbabwe's team was all out for 125 runs in 18.3 overs. Mukesh Kumar dismissed four batsmen for 22 runs.

Sundar was declared Player of the Series

Washington Sundar was declared the Player of the Series for scoring 28 runs and taking 8 wickets in the series. Zimbabwe won the toss and invited India to bat. After losing 3 wickets for just 40 runs, Samson (58) added 65 runs with Parag (22) and 30 runs with Dubey (26) to take the team to 167 runs for 6 wickets.

Sanju-Shivam batted strongly in the last match

In the last match of the series, the Indian team lost the toss and batted first and scored 167 runs. At one point, the team lost 3 wickets for just 40 runs. After this, Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag shared a 65-run partnership in 56 balls and pulled the team out of a difficult situation.

Sanju played an innings of 58 runs in 45 balls, in which he hit 4 sixes and 1 four. While Ryan scored 22 runs. In the end, Shivam Dubey scored 22 runs in 12 balls. On the other hand, Blessing Mujarbani bowled brilliantly for Zimbabwe and took 2 wickets. Captain Sikandar Raza, Richard Ngarava and Brendan Mavuta got 1-1 success.
