Dhamtari, August 18 (HS). Teachers of the district will now have to apply on the online portal to avail leave. Receipt and acceptance of leave applications has started through the portal. Information regarding teachers' leave will be online. Even after not coming to school, one will not be able to sign the attendance register on the next day. The new order will completely end the collusion between the headmaster, principal and teachers in some schools regarding leave. It is mandatory to apply for leave before the school start time, otherwise the application will be rejected. Form three will have to be uploaded for shortened leave and Form number four for joining.

According to the information received from the District Education Officer's office, 2279 teachers are working in government primary schools in Dhamtari district. 1785 teachers are working in secondary schools. Apart from this, 27 principals and 1349 lecturers are working in high and higher secondary schools. Many complaints reach the Collectorate Office and District Education Officer's Office through the villagers, including the teachers of some of these schools reaching school late, being on leave for a long time, taking leave from school at any time. At the same time, some teachers take leave at their own will, to tighten the noose on such teachers, the government has now started the receipt and approval of leave application through the portal, so that the government gets information about the leave of teachers. Even after being on leave, the teacher cannot come and sign in the attendance register the next day. As per the rules, take leave before the school opens. After the receipt and approval of leave application starts through the portal, now the attitude of such careless teachers is likely to improve. This rule has been implemented in all the schools of the district and the state from August 12.

According to the information, as per the guidelines issued regarding leave approval in the leave management portal, teachers, officers and employees will have to apply for casual and optional leave in the portal before the school starts. On receiving the application, the concerned competent officer will have to approve or reject the application on the same day. After using the leave, one will also have to join online through the portal. Form number three will have to be uploaded for semi-paid, shortened leave and form number four for joining. At the same time, many rules are also included for the leave of teachers and employees working in the system. Casual and optional leave of District Education Officer and Joint Directors will be approved by the District Collector and Divisional Commissioner as before. In this regard, District Education Officer Dhamtari TR Jagdalle said that the new rule regarding leave of teachers and employees has been implemented. The application received for leave will now be uploaded in the portal, so that the government can get information about the leave of teachers and employees. There are many strict rules regarding leave. Teachers and employees will now have to take leave as per rules.
