Teachers will be honored with Star Teacher of Nipun Award

Jind, 27 July (HS). The education department, which is trying to improve the level of education in government schools, has started a new initiative, under which teachers doing better work in the field of teaching will be awarded the Star Teacher of Nipun Award. For the selection of better teachers, all the block education officers of the district will form a committee under their leadership.

This committee will evaluate the activities and other works done by the teachers in the classroom. On this basis, marks will be awarded to the teachers. On the basis of these marks, five teachers will be selected from each block. Haryana School Education Project Council has decided to honor the teachers to encourage them. This will increase the competition among teachers to improve the exam results and efforts will be made to improve the students. Teachers doing better work in the field of education will be honored with the Star Teacher of Nipun Award. For this, five teachers and two mentors will be selected from each block.

Education department issued guidelines for applying

The education department has also issued guidelines for applying, for which 10 points have been determined. Each point has 10 marks. On this basis, teachers will have to self-assess and apply in the Block Education Officer's office. After receiving the applications, the committee formed will evaluate and select the names of five teachers and two mentors and send them to the District Education Officer and District Elementary Education Officer and District Coordinator FLN. Only after this the final names will be selected. There are about 1900 PRTs working in seven blocks of the district. Giving information on Saturday, LLN District Coordinator Rajesh Vashisht said that the PRTs working to improve the level of education in schools will be honored with Star Teacher of Nipun. Applications have been sought from teachers for this. The committee formed by the education department will examine the applications received and marks will be given by evaluating the work of the teachers on the basis of the issued guidelines. On this basis, five teachers and two mentors will be selected from each block. Who will be honored in the district level SMC program by the chief guest Honorable Education Minister on August 3. This scheme started by Jind will prove to be effective in fulfilling its objectives. It will bring good results in the coming time.
