Jhansi, 08 July (HS). Teachers of Basic Education Council have come together in protest against online attendance. Teachers taught by tying a black band. Online attendance has been made compulsory for teachers from Monday. Earlier they had to register attendance on Prerna portal from 15 April. But, under the new order of the department, now they had to register online attendance from today, for this the option of attendance register has been made available on Prerna portal.
Teachers are not happy with this order of the department. Teachers' organizations say that first the department should do its work online, after that teachers' attendance should be recorded online.
Basic Teacher Welfare Association's District President Rasendra Gautam said that no department in the state is giving online attendance. This is only a conspiracy to defame the teachers, the officers who could not give books to the children for 5 months, should get promotion, adjustment on time, get rid of non-educational work, there are thousands of files pending in the office, they should first make their office online.
On the call of Basic Teacher Welfare Association, teaching work was done by wearing black bands from today. In which support was received from Jitendra Dixit Primary Teachers Association, Abhishek Upadhyay Inter District Teachers Welfare Association, Nitin Chaurasia Primary Teachers Association 1160, Ankit Rai UTA, Achal Chirar Vishisht VTC Association and Boota etc.
