Varanasi, July 15 (HS). The anger of teachers against online attendance is not stopping. The mobilized teachers targeted the government on Monday in protest against online attendance near the main gate of the Collectorate located at the district headquarters. Calling online attendance a black law, a demand was made to withdraw it. Teacher leaders said that first the government should fulfill the pending demands of the teachers. The biggest problem in online attendance is that of network.
Before this, the teachers gathered outside the office of the District Basic Education Officer located in the Police Line under the aegis of the Teachers Shiksha Mitra Instructor Employees United Front. From here, they reached the district headquarters raising slogans. After the demonstration, the teachers handed over a memorandum of their demands to the representative officer of the District Magistrate.
On the other hand, teachers' organizations also ran a hashtag campaign against online presence. Sanat Kumar Singh, a senior member of the Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers' Association, said that on the call of state president Dr. Dineshchandra Sharma, teachers made the hashtag campaign on X successful in protest against the harassment being done by the officers. In the campaign, teachers kept using the boycott digitalization hashtag on their respective X handles.
