The company recently produced the one millionth car from its Sanand plant in Gujarat. The company started production from this plant 14 years ago in 2010. Production of different types of cars
Tata Motors manufactures a variety of cars at its Sanand plant in Gujarat. The company produces Tiago, Tigor, Tigor AMT, Tigor CNG, Tiago EV, Tigor EV and Express-T EV at this plant. The company's Sanand plant is built on 1100 acres. Which also includes the 359-acre Wonder Park. The plant employs approximately six thousand workers and consists of a press line, weld shop, paint shop, assembly line as well as a powertrain shop. The share of this plant in the total car production of the company is 20 percent.
