The design of the Tata Curve coupe SUV will be similar to its ICE variant and will feature an aggressive lower grille, split LED headlight setup, clamshell-shaped hood with electric punch. It can be given sporty alloy wheels, LED tail lights and curves like coupe-style roofline.
How powerful is the motor and battery
Tata will provide a larger battery pack and motor in this mid-size electric coupe-style SUV than the Nexon. Once fully charged, it can be driven for about 500 kilometers. According to the information, it can be provided with a battery of 50kWh capacity. Apart from this, a power of 116 kilowatts can be obtained from the motor installed in the SUV. It may come with a liquid cooled, IP-67 rated capacity battery and motor.
Who will compete with?
The electric version of the company's Curve will directly compete with upcoming electric SUVs like Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti EVX, Citroen Basalt EV. According to the information, the company can introduce this SUV before the start of the festive season.
How much will it cost?
The company has not yet given any information about Tata Curvvy EV. But it is expected that at the time of launch this electric SUV can be brought at a price of around Rs 20 lakh. The company will position it above the Nexon EV.
