Task force team rescues children doing child labor

Fatehabad, 26 November (HS). As per the instructions of Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Modi in the district, on Tuesday, a rescue operation was conducted by the District Task Force (DTF) team to stop child labor and beggary in Papiha Park, Lal Batti Chowk, Thana Road, Jawahar Chowk and Ratia Chungi of Fatehabad. Child Protection Officer Surjit Bajiya said that under the campaign to prevent child labor and beggary, the team organized awareness camps in Papiha Park and Ashok Nagar to make shopkeepers and the general public aware.

Meanwhile, a girl involved in begging was rescued from Papiha Park and two children doing child labor were rescued from Ratia Chungi and Favwara Chowk. The team is presenting all the children before the Child Welfare Committee and further action is being taken. This action will be taken continuously by the team from time to time at all places. On this occasion, Labor Inspector Kamlesh Jangra, Amit Jakhar and Ravi Dutt from AHUT team, Ashok Lamba from District Education Officer office etc. were present in the team.
