Target of getting more than 75 percent voting, strategy made for coordination

Mirzapur, April 2 (HS). As part of the signature campaign run with a view to increasing the voting percentage in the district to 75 percent plus in the Lok Sabha elections, District Election Officer Priyanka Niranjan on Tuesday signed and gave a message to exercise one's voting right as much as possible. In this sequence, the Chief Development Officer and other officers also signed the signature campaign.

In order to effectively run the voter awareness campaign in the district, the Chief Development Officer discussed the comprehensive action plan with the sweep team in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium. The Disabled Welfare Officer was instructed to create awareness among the disabled brothers by jointly taking out a tricycle and e-rickshaw rally from Vikas Bhawan to the Collectorate.

An action plan was made to make people aware about voting by organizing voter awareness cycle rally, selfie point, painting and debate competition, rangoli, voter awareness speech and cultural programs etc. In the same sequence, instructions were given to put up banners in various banks, to run mobile vans on behalf of the banks to create awareness about voting, to set up bank help desks, signature campaigns etc.

Discussion on organizing sports competition

Under the Voter Premium League, under the leadership of the District Election Officer, discussions were also held on organizing cricket, volleyball, football, kabaddi and kho-kho competitions at the Revenue Department, Police Department, Development Department, Tehsil and Block level.

Boat rally for voter awareness on April 4

Emphasis was also laid on organizing Voter Awareness Fair related to Voter Awareness at Chunar Fort. In this sequence, on April 4, a big boat rally will be taken out from Vindhyachal Diwan Ghat to Fateha Ganga Ghat from 8 am under Vote for Vote. In this, officials along with school children will organize cultural programs to create awareness among the people about voting.
