Chitrakoot, 10 April (HIST). The pride day of the holy and religious city Chitrakoot is being celebrated on 17th April on the day of Ram Navami. On the occasion of Pride Day, with the cooperation of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Government and Saint Mahatmas and society, more than 11 lakh lamps will be lit at important places in the entire Chitrakoot city, due to which the entire Chitrakoot will shine. For the Pride Day programme, a large meeting was organized with the Sant Samaj and enlightened people of the society on Wednesday at the Entrepreneurship School of Deendayal Research Institute.
During this, social worker Lavkush Chaturvedi said that efforts will be made to ensure that the program of Chitrakoot pride is organized in all the families of all the populations of the entire Chitrakoot district. Mahant Shri Ramji Das Maharaj said that better programs should be carried out through mutual coordination in both the areas by abandoning the constraints of boundaries. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Chitrakoot Ashok Jatav, Karvi Municipality President Narendra Gupta, Chitrakoot Municipal Council President Sadhna Patel put forward their views and suggestions to improve Chitrakoot Pride Day.
Organization Secretary of Deendayal Research Institute, Abhay Mahajan said that Rashtrarishi Nana ji always said that the work done with the initiative, effort and participation of the public is permanent, hence we all will complete the program of Chitrakoot Pride Day with collective efforts and public participation.
Shri Mahajan has appealed to the general public of Chitrakoot region that on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami, this sacred event of Chitrakoot Pride Day is being organized with the cooperation of saints and society. On this holy festival, everyone along with their families should join the joy of the birth anniversary of Shri Ram by lighting the lamps of faith at their homes, establishments, temples and ghats. On the day of Ram Navami, on 17th April, lamps will be lit simultaneously at all the places at 7 pm, which will remain an unforgettable program of lamp lighting till 7.45 pm.
In the meeting, apart from Mahant Pawan Baba Sati Anusuiya Ashram, Mahant Divya Jeevan Das Bharat Mandir, Mahant Ram Ji Das Santoshi Akhara, Naga Ji, Vipin Virat Maharaj, Vice Chancellor Dr. Bharat Mishra, Gandhiji, Chhattisgarh University, public representatives included Ashok Jatav, District Panchayat President, Chitrakoot. Sadhna Patel, President Nagar Panchayat Chitrakoot, Rao Prabal Srivastava and key workers of all the projects of Deendayal Research Institute and prominent citizens of Chitrakoot were present.
