New Delhi, 28 September (Hindustan Reporter). A fire broke out at Tata Company's mobile phone accessories painting unit located in Hosur in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu at around 5.30 am on Saturday. Many employees were on duty at the plant at the time of the accident. However, there is no news of anyone being injured in the accident. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Quoting the spokesperson of Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd, the media report said that during the fire incident at the Tata Electronics plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, the employees followed the emergency protocol and everyone is safe.
This plant of Tata manufactures accessories related to iPhone. Around 4500 employees work here. In this plant spread over 500 acres, work is done in shifts for 24 hours. At the time of the incident, 1500 employees were working in the plant.
