Taliban's Deputy Foreign Minister threatens Pakistan

Pakistan's troubles are showing no sign of abating. First Iran carried out air strikes on Pakistan border, now it has warned Taliban. Taliban Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai has said that we will never consider the Durand Line as the official border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He also warned that it would not be right if the Afghan tribes living on the Pakistan border were driven away. Just like India had separated Bangladesh in 1971. We will do the same. History will repeat itself.

The British drew the Durand Line in the center of the Afghans.

Sher Mohammad said that half of Afghanistan is on the other side of the Durand Line. We have never accepted the Durand Line and never will. This is an imaginary line that the British drew in the hearts of the Afghans. Now our neighbor on the eastern border of Afghanistan is sending out Afghan refugees. They are being suppressed. They are being asked to go back to their country. They have no shame in doing so. They don't even know that that country belongs not only to Pakistanis but also to Afghans.

'If you ask for passport or visa, it will not be accepted'

The Taliban Foreign Minister said that if Pakistan installs barbed wire on the Durand Line or demands passports or visas, it will not be acceptable to us at all. This will never happen. No one can separate the tribals living in Afghanistan and Pakistan from each other. If this happens, it will be similar to what happened after the separation of Bangladesh in 1971. With the blessings of Allah that land will be liberated. History will repeat itself.

Pakistan also retaliated

Taliban Deputy Foreign Minister said that all the bullets and artillery shells that have come towards Afghanistan in the last 20 years, all the planes that have come here and targeted our Mujahideen, every bullet will be answered as soon as Afghanistan becomes stable. . Pakistan has also reacted to this statement. Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that no imaginary and fabricated claims regarding recognition of Pak-Afghanistan border can change the facts of geography, history and international law.

What is Durand Line and when did it come into existence?

The Durand Line was drawn in 1893. This line came into existence after an agreement between the British Indian representative Sir Mortimer Durand and the Emir of Afghanistan Abdur Rahman Khan. This agreement divided the Pashtun and Baloch people between Pakistan and Afghanistan. This line has served as the border between the two countries since Pakistan's independence in 1947. Pakistan claims that the Durand Line is the official border. At the same time, Afghanistan has always denied this claim.
