Siyaram Baba, a devotee of Lord Hanuman, used to accept donations of only Rs 10 from devotees. Didn’t take even a single penny more than Rs 10. This is Rs. 10 were used for the renovation and donation of Narmada Ghat.
From social media to religious world, there is talk about the demise of famous ascetic saint Siyaram Baba. On the morning of Mokshada Ekadashi (Wednesday), Baba left for salvation. His last rites were performed near Teli Bhatyan Ashram on the banks of river Narmada in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Along with lakhs of devotees, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also arrived for the last darshan of Baba.
The Chief Minister described the demise of Siyaram Baba as an irreparable loss for the society and the saint community. He announced to convert Baba’s Samadhi and the area into a pilgrimage site.
Khargaon district Superintendent of Police (SP) Dharamraj Meena said Siyaram Baba breathed his last at his ashram in Bhatyan village at around 6.10 am on Wednesday. Baba was suffering from pneumonia for the last few days.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and former Union Minister Arun Yadav and others condoled the demise of the revered Hindu saint in the Nimar region.
Only Rs. 10-10 is acceptable

By depositing Rs 10 each, he used that money for the restoration of Narmada Ghats and development of religious institutions including temples.
Gave Rs 2.50 lakh for Ram temple
Not only this, Baba has already donated crores of rupees for public service. Baba donated Rs. 10,000 to Nagalwadi Bhilat Temple. Rs 2.57 crore. A silver swing worth Rs 2 lakh was also donated. Also contributed Rs 2.50 lakh for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Apart from this, a passenger waiting room was also constructed on Bhatyan Sasabad Road at a cost of Rs 5 lakh. All the other work was also done.

Baba was known for his deep spiritual connection and constant recitation of Ramcharitmanas. Baba, known for his simple lifestyle, wore very few clothes. Lived in a loincloth. He used to cook his own food and do his daily work himself. Baba performed rigorous penance in silence for 12 years, standing on one leg under a tree in his ashram. During this period only Neem leaves and Bilba leaves were consumed. When the silence was broken, it came out of his mouth – ‘Siyaram.’ Since then Baba started being called Siyaram Baba. No one knows his real name.
Baba’s childhood
Born in Kathiawar, Gujarat, Baba settled in Mumbai with his parents in his childhood. He did his matriculation in Mumbai. There were also two sisters and a brother in the family. Baba took sannyasa at the age of 17. Left home and traveled to India for five years. At the age of 25, Baba reached Teli Bhatyan village located in Kasrawad of Khargone district. No one remembers the date of that day, but Baba told his servants that it was the day of Ekadashi. And now on the day of Ekadashi i.e. 11th December 2024, Baba left the world and went to the abode of God.
