Ranchi, July 17 (HS). Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that maintaining law and order in the state is the top priority of the state government. To maintain a fear-free environment in the entire state, take all concrete steps to control crime and criminals. He said that the criminals involved in criminal cases should be identified and strict action should be taken against them. No laxity will be tolerated in the direction of crime control.

The Chief Minister directed to keep the security arrangements foolproof during the upcoming festivals. He said that during festivals, special monitoring should be done on anti-social elements who try to plot to spread unrest. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister was holding a high-level meeting with senior officials in the residential office regarding law and order, implementation of new welfare schemes, Jharkhand Police and Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination and other ongoing recruitment processes.

Complete the process for implementation of new plans

The Chief Minister said that the state government is going to start many new welfare schemes. This also includes an important scheme to provide financial assistance to women between 21 and 50 years of age. He said that all the processes of starting this scheme and selection of beneficiaries should be completed immediately, so that one more step can be taken towards empowering the women of this state. He told the officials to work in mission mode to ensure that the benefits of the government's welfare schemes reach the last person in the society. The results of these welfare schemes should be visible. Our government's schemes are to speed up the development of the state along with taking the people here forward.

Important instructions given regarding the appointment process

In the meeting, the Chief Minister took complete information about the ongoing process of Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination-2023 and Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination-2023. He said that the appointment process of constable and excise constable should be completed as soon as possible. He said that complete transparency and confidentiality should be maintained in these appointments. Make sure that there is no irregularity and disturbance of any kind in this.

There should be uniformity in the recruitment process of uniform services

The Chief Minister said that he has instructed the concerned officials to bring uniformity in the recruitment process of uniform services like police, home guard, forest and excise. He said that this is very important to speed up the recruitment process of uniform services. This will also help the youth in preparing for the competitive examinations of uniform services.

Chief Secretary L. Khiangte, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary Vandana Dadel, Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh, ADG RK Malik, ADG Suman Gupta, Secretary Manoj Kumar, IG Prabhat Kumar and IG Pankaj Kamboj were present in the meeting.
