Gopalganj, July 17 (HS). If you want to see an example of Hindu Muslim unity, come to Dhebwa village of Gopalganj district of Bihar. Yes, here for many decades, a fair of Tajiya is held at the door of a Hindu family. Not only this, the people of the Hindu family make all the arrangements for this Tajiya fair, where on one hand many things are said about Hindus and Muslims. On the other hand, this tradition of this village, which has been going on for centuries, is setting an example. This year also, Tajiyas from many villages were kept here.

Dhebwa village is located at a distance of 30 km from the district headquarters. If the villagers are to be believed, the Tajiya fair has been held at the door of late Badrinath Singh since about nine decades. Here the family of Sheetla Prasad Singh himself used to organize the Tajiya fair at their door. After the death of Sheetla Babu, this responsibility was taken over by his wife Rajkalli Devi and this tradition continues till date. After this, this event continued under the supervision of his son late Badri Prasad Narayan Singh. After his death, now Badri Babu's next generation Jagdamba Singh, Diwakar Singh are taking it forward.

Along with him, the fifth generation of the family Prabhakar Singh, Sudhakar Singh, Guddu Singh, Virendra Singh etc. are also participating with great enthusiasm. Like every year, this year too a fair of Muharram Tajiya was organized here, in which people from 10 villages participate. This year too Moti Sah, Surendra Baranwal, Abhishek Mishra, Arjun Rai, Runjhun Tiwari, Manzoor Miya etc. were involved in the arrangements of the fair and made the program successful.
