A powerful earthquake struck Taiwan this morning. Yet, poisoned China is finding opportunities for itself even in crisis.
On one hand, the earthquake caused devastation in Taiwan, while on the other hand, China has intruded into Taiwan's airspace and waters with more than 30 warplanes and nine warships, Taiwan's Defense Ministry has alleged. China has been claiming Taiwan and is even threatening military action to eventually annex Taiwan to China.
While Taiwan is struggling with the earthquake, China has once again tried to intimidate this small country with its military power. According to Taiwan, 30 Chinese aircraft crossed our airspace and Chinese warships also entered our maritime zone. After this, Taiwan's Air Force and Navy took necessary action.
Although China has not yet responded to Taiwan's claim, videos have been uploaded on social media claiming that Chinese ships have reached Taiwan. Whether this is true or false has not been known yet. Last month also, Taiwan had claimed that 36 Chinese fighter planes were flying near its airspace. However, this year the Chinese Air Force has increased its intrusion into Taiwan's airspace. Now China is busy intimidating Taiwan despite disasters like earthquake.
