Jaipur, 4 November (Hindustan Reporter). Joint Committee Tahaffuz-e-Auqaf Rajasthan will organize Tahaffuz-e-Auqaf Conference on 10th November at MD Road, Jaipur in protest against the Waqf Amendment Bill.
Mohammad Nazimuddin, Convenor of Joint Committee Tahaffuz-e-Awqaf Rajasthan, while addressing the journalists on Monday, said that the Waqf Act 1995 is already in place and is also amended. It has proper provisions for management, conservation and operation of Waqf properties. But even after that, the Central Government is trying to weaken the status of the Waqf Board by tampering with them. He said that there is opposition to the amended bill across the country, if this amendment is made forcibly then the Muslim community will take to the streets and express their protest constitutionally.
To protest against this, Tahafuje Auqaf Conference is being organized in Jaipur. Hafiz Manzoor Ali of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said that Tahafuje Auqaf Conference is being organized on November 10 on MD Road, Jaipur to create awareness against the Waqf Amendment Bill. In this, members of JPC, representatives of All India Muslim Personal Law Board as well as representatives of many other political parties have been invited. Who will come to Jaipur and make people aware by presenting their views against the Waqf Amendment Bill.
