Symptoms of monkey pox in a traveler returning from Dubai to Jaipur | News India

Jaipur, 8 October (Hindustan Reporter). There was panic at Jaipur airport on Tuesday after symptoms of monkey pox were seen in a passenger returning from abroad. Where the medical staff present at the airport has isolated him in Rajasthan University of Health and Sciences (RUHS) Hospital. At present, considering the patient as suspicious, his treatment has been started. Apart from this, doctors considered the patient suspicious and took his samples and sent them to the lab of Sawai Mansingh Medical College for testing. In such a situation, only after the report comes, it will be confirmed whether the suspected patient has monkey pox or not.

RUHS Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ajit Singh said that on Tuesday morning the twenty-year-old suspected patient returned to Jaipur from Dubai and is a native of Nagaur district. The suspected patient has mild fever and red rashes on the body. It is being treated. According to doctors, the patient's condition is normal at present. Further treatment will be done after the sample report comes.

Singh said that special arrangements have been made in the hospital regarding M. Pox. An entire floor was reserved only for the treatment of patients suffering from M. pox.

It is noteworthy that the World Health Organization has issued an alert regarding monkey pox. It has been declared a global public health emergency. In the state too, the Medical Department has issued guidelines regarding this disease by issuing an alert.
