Sweeper's wife committed suicide by hanging herself

Moradabad, 26 October (HIST). On Saturday, the body of a sweeper's wife was found hanging in the room in Bhatavali of Civil Lines police station area. The police sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case.

Sulendra Kumar, a resident of the new population of Bhatavali, does cleaning work in the export factory located on Kanth Road. He went to the factory on Saturday morning. He was survived by his wife Anjali (28), two children, Vansh Shair Kriti. In the afternoon the children went out of the house to play. Meanwhile, nephew Ankush went to the terrace to drink water. He saw that Anjali was hanging with the help of her dupatta from the hook at the level of the fan. When Ankush raised an alarm, a girl from the neighborhood also came to the terrace. The girl called and informed the woman's husband and the people of the locality. The room where Anjali hanged herself was locked from inside. After receiving the information, the husband reached the spot and with the help of neighbors, took down the dead body of the woman from the noose. Here, the police reached the information and sent the body for post-mortem.

Inspector Manish Saxena, in-charge of Civil Line police station, said that no complaint has been received from the family members yet. If any complaint is received, necessary action will be taken.
