claimed to form government

After Kejriwal resigned, all the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party came out of the LG office and addressed a press conference. Meanwhile, Gopal Rai said, 'We have filed a claim before the Lieutenant Governor to make Atishi ji the new Chief Minister. Apart from this, we have also demanded from the LG to fix the date of swearing-in.'

After coming out of jail, he made a big announcement

After coming out of Tihar Jail, Kejriwal held a meeting. He said, 'I will resign in the next two days. I have come to your court. Now you decide who was right. Even Manish Sisodia will not become the Chief Minister.' After Kejriwal's announcement, there was a stir in Delhi politics about who would become the new Chief Minister of Delhi. After this, a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) was called today at the official residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Meanwhile, the name of the new Chief Minister of Delhi was also discussed. In which Atishi's name was chosen as the new Chief Minister.

Atishi's reaction on being made the Chief Minister

Atishi, who was elected as the new Chief Minister of Delhi, said that I will work under the guidance of Arvind Kejriwal till he returns to this post for the second time. I will ensure that the people of Delhi continue to get facilities like free electricity, good education and free treatment. Atishi's first reaction was to express sadness instead of happiness over the fact that Kejriwal had to resign from his post. Meanwhile, depression was clearly visible on her face.

Atishi appealed to the MLAs and people of Delhi that no one should wish me or garland me. After the Aam Aadmi Party, Atishi herself also made it clear that she will remain the Chief Minister till the end of the term of this government and after the new elections, if the mandate comes in favor of the party, then Kejriwal will be the Chief Minister.
