Jalaun, 12 July (HS). Swati Singh, who returned from Uganda after winning a bronze medal, was welcomed. When Swati Singh, a resident of Amita, Jalaun, returned to the city after winning two bronze medals in the International Para Badminton Open Championship held in Uganda, social workers and railway employees gave her a grand welcome at the railway station on Friday morning.

The players of Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University have brought pride by winning three gold and two bronze medals. In this, student Ruchi Trivedi won three gold medals and Swati, a resident of Jalaun, won two bronze medals. These players won bronze medals while representing India. Swati Singh returned on Friday.
Last month, when Swati was not financially well to tour Uganda, she had sought help from Jalaun DM, in which the DM and SP Jalaun helped her by giving her a sports kit. After this, through a small campaign by senior social worker Ramakant Dohre, the people of the society provided financial help of around 70 thousand rupees and sent her to Uganda. When Swati returned after winning, she was welcomed by Ramakant Dohre, Deepak JE, Ravindra Chaudhari, Shailendra Pratap, Pradeep Mahatwani, Ravindra Gautam, Rahul Alaipura, Munnesh Dohre, Aleem Sir, Ramavatar, Bijapur, Ajay Gautam Yoga Maharaj, Amit Kumar Dohre, Vinod Kumar Gautam, railway employees and dozens of people.
