Firozabad, 28 September (HS). A goldsmith committed suicide by shooting himself under Shikohabad police station area on Saturday. Family members say that Swarnkar was under stress for the last one month. Police is investigating why Swarnkar took this step.
Yogesh Sharma (40), resident of Rahat Gali under police station Shikohabad area, son of Bhagwan Swami Sharma was a goldsmith. Like everyday, on Saturday too he returned home after dropping his wife Archana and daughter Devika to school. After that, he shot himself in the head while sitting in the car parked in the garage near the house. Suddenly hearing the sound of gunshot, people nearby reached the spot. Yogesh Sharma was lying in the car in an injured state. The family members also reached the spot.
Injured Yogesh Sharma was taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. Where he died. There was chaos among the family members after the doctor declared him dead. The police arrived after receiving the information, took the body of the deceased into their custody and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem. Police have inspected the incident site and collected evidence. The deceased's son Aditya was studying outside. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Akhilesh Bhadauria said that Swarnkar had committed suicide by shooting himself. The reasons for suicide are not yet known. The body has been kept in the post mortem house. Information about the incident is being obtained by talking to family members.
